Extreme digital music store, Metalhit.com, is now offering their exclusive catalog of more than 1,400 black, death, doom and thrash metal albums for $5.25 each.
Owner, Mike Riddick, says "We believe this price point will be more attractive to fans of extreme metal because of the lower perceived value in purchasing non-tangible goods that lack the artistic flare of packaging associated with other music formats."
Metalhit.com launched in 2008 as the premiere online source for extreme metal online. The company publishes its own handful of artists and also manages digital distribution for more than 75 other underground extreme metal labels. In late 2009, the company took over management of America's classic metal mag website: MetalManiacs.com
